The D5+ took 21 days including weekends to arrive to my home in Seattle Washington. The scooter is definitely fast and does well on hills. My concern is that the scooter needs a lot of maintenance, in terms of tightening the screws. There has been times where I needed to tighten a lot of the screws. It’s an unnerving feeling to ride the scooter knowing that the screws are constantly coming loose, especially the neck area where the handlebar meets the scooter. I’ve only put 160 miles on the scooter but I feel the quality isn’t quite up to my standards. The breaking is terrible, every time I press on the brakes I feel like I’m going to fly over the handle bar and it’s never a smooth breaking. I’d give this scooter six out of 10 stars. Only because of the breaking issue and the quality of the screws where I’m always constantly screwing i’d give this scooter six out of 10 stars. I tested it on the weekend and found that the top speed is about 58km / h. (I'm afraid I can not do it anymore.) I ran about 15 ~ 20km before and after the full charge. The handle is a little bit back and forth, there is a clearance (probably because of folding) and the brake performance is too good to be hurt. The safety gear should be worn by all means. Apparently, it looks like Zargis but it is not enough to make a problem .. I do not know yet, but the caustic rain seems to be heavy.

Hi, completely love my new scooter, the motor is a bit noisy but pulls very strong when accelerating so that i'm able reach 50 km/h even uphill. You can also reach top speed of 65 km/h very easily, however when travelling at those speeds you need proper safety gear. Delivery took 10 days to the UK.

This is a very well designed electric scooter! I'm 6' 4" 230lb and this scooter is the perfect size. It's definitely bigger than your average bird scooter and the wheels are large too which gives it a very smooth ride. I can go up and down curbs at ease. Being 230lb I'm still able to hit 40mph which is crazy!
I did change the electric brake settings to not as sensitive. The default electric brakes are so sensitive that it felt like I might fly forward if I hit it too hard. After I lowed the setting it felt perfect. I'm using this to commute to work 12 miles away and because I can take back streets and skip traffic, I can get there about the same time a car would.

It's almost like normal scooter but much better for commuting. It was scary to drive firstly but sooo FUN! Only one complaint that handlebar is not very tight. But will try to make it tighter!

Received the D5+ in good order but charger came with Asian plug instead of U.S. plug. Emailed company, they are sending U.S. plug out to me. I had an adapter at home so I have been able to charge and ride the scooter. At first I thought the scooter was not as quick as I expected but when I went out with my son following on his 2500 watt mid drive electric bicycle, he wasn't able to keep up. That's when I realized this thing is deceptively fast, because that ebike is faster than anything the bike shop sells and has no speed limiter. The scooter is very controllable and smooth but after 35 mph the fear sets in. I did 40 going downhill but I am a little insane and I started thinking about what happens if you crash at that speed! Its a scooter for crying out loud! I weigh 210lbs and there are some very steep hills where I live. Most fairly steep hills I could get up at 19-20mph, but a couple extra steep hills slowed it to 16 mph. Pretty impressive. I took it for a twenty mile ride today on a popular bike path and although I rode courteously and made sure to pass slowly, I was the fastest thing out there including road bikes and ebikes.
A few things I've learned through research that may be helpful to new buyers: It is capable of displaying in mph instead of kph. This can be changed in parameter settings under P4 heading on the display. Secondly, highly advise turn off the electronic brake strength value under P9 setting. Turn it completely off so it will brake normally. Otherwise when you hit the brakes, the motor regeneration kicks in and makes smooth braking very difficult because it feels like the brakes got slammed on full force. Thirdly, the Gear number on the display is basically a top speed limiter. 1st gear limits to about 20mph and 3rd gear lets you hit top speed. 4th point is don't trust the battery bars. Scroll the mode button till the display shows a number between 44 (almost dead) and 59 (full charge). This is your most accurate battery fuel gauge in volts. 52 is about 1/2 charge (at rest, not when throttling). There is a good youtube video that discusses the parameters on your display and how to adjust them which helped me tremendously. Its not a Nanrobot but the controls are the same. Type in 'apocolypse scooter programming guide' on youtube. Hope this info helps because it isn't in the instructions clearly and nobody else mentioned most of this in the reviews.
